It's equally about Nathans value,trade-wise,as it is his turnover skills.

He's our best chance at securing anything decent...

Agree with this Ox

I reckon players on our list with real value are few and far between.

To be aggressive in trade week you have to be prepared to give up something of value if you want say a first round pick or a hamish McIntosh

It comes down to who are the "untouchables" and who are your prepared to part with if the price is right

Move him on..the time has come.......i'm sick of the club showing invested faith in pseudo champions (Cogs,Foley,Bowden etc)ainst

It will be hard watching Axl tear us a new hole when he plays against us but provided we
receive a quality player,this pain will pass.
Dont forget,he didn't play for ages and even when he came back,has made no difference to our win loss ratio.

I think Foley's a great player, but I would trade him for HMac if his injuries are sorted out.

I don't think we have enough good players to trade the few good ones that we have.
This however, is an exception if we get a ruck man.

Good idea but our distorted view of the list will make him untouchable

During the trade period last year many on here were happy on the scenario to trade Foley to Geelong.
I think we can move on without him. Thought so last year and think so this year. Would love another early draft pick for him. If we find a willing suitor grab a late first rounder and run. Could be a three way deal with him to get that first round pick.

I believe if we are to improve as a club and as a midfield Jackson needs to be traded also.

There is a lesson in that, blokes who lack natural talent and size that have to work their guts out to get a crack only burn brightly for a short time and it only takes one injury or getting older and they are gone.

We would do well to remember that it pays to make hard calls on those blokes early, as we should have with Jackson 1 or 2 seasons ago and as we should this year with another bloke from the same category.

I agree with most on here- this club needs a f@#king wake up call!!!
And so do the playing group. Fair enough we are not the most skillful side in the league, but the effort that was shown on Saturday was just unacceptable! You don't need skill to run and chase, or to bump and tackle. Keep turning these bozos over until we find blokes that will at least have a go. Time this club made some hard calls on everybody at the club!
Starting with the recruiter.
As i have said on other threads, other than our first round draft picks,(which aint that hard)  he has done nothing in his time art the club.
