Jason Castagna
22 disposals, 19 uncontested possessions, 13 handball-receives

Returned from the AFL with a great attitude and had 22 disposals off half-back, four tackles and leading the way again with handball receives, led the team with 13 and kept his man goalless.

But he is a backman....thats where the gang want him in the firsts.. :banghead...must play back with the entire team, how else will he learn to kick goals... :banghead

Callum Moore
Four goals, 18 disposals, five marks

Moved forward, we trialled him for a half last week and we started him there this week. He kicked 4.3 which was a great return and showed everyone what he’s capable of and his strengths. His contested marking really stood-out and he’s an exciting prospect up-forward for us.
DIMMA - You will be held ACCOUNTABLE...

“We are really excited about what we have brought in. We have got great depth of players that can take us where we need to go. We are just putting some cream on the top at the moment,” he said.

Tell us again what position he was playing before this move?
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

Must admit it was a bit strange seeing Short down back on the weekend when we had Castagna as a small back in form.
From the club website:
Short: "Boasting speed as a small forward, he has also played as a midfielder"
Castagna: "The medium defender is capable of taking the game on"

Carry on WAT.

Castagna as far as I know spent all (most?) of his time with us and as an under-18 in the back line. But when you have an issue with someone why not use every example you can even if it is totally off base :lol
