Brown added that rival clubs would play close attention to Richmond's game style, given their success over the past three seasons, and revealed where the club is most vulnerable.
"If you can start to flick the ball around and use it quickly (you have a chance)," he said.
"Earlier in the year when (Alex) Rance went down and they were finding their feet, clubs were beating Richmond on the outside with quick use.
"If you get it into that forward 50 and put pressure on Richmond's defenders without Rance there, they can be a bit vulnerable one-on-one.
"They like the six-on-six team defence, but if they can't get that, they are vulnerable."

With two premierships in the last three seasons, Brown suggested that the Tigers' motivation will to cement itself as one of the greatest teams of all-time alongside the Hawks, Cats and Brisbane Lions squads over the last 20 years.
"You look at what Hawthorn did, what Geelong did, the Brisbane Lions ... and they're the pinnacle," he said.
"With the leader Trent Cotchin, who has just got his head switched on so well, he's a been great example of the way Dustin Martin has now played.
"Dustin Martin has followed Trent Cotchin's lead, but they've got two players, one as captain and one as an absolute superstar, leading that football club and I think they're in good hands."

Richmond will again be without five-time All-Australian defender Alex Rance after his shock retirement, but Brown backed the Tigers to survive, praising Damien Hardwick for his organisation of the side.
" They proved that last year," he said.
"When he went down they lost games early on in the season and the strength of Richmond and Damien Hardwick is their team ethos.
"He went away and he figured out how to play without Alex Rance, and they figured it out. They just do the right thing at the right time and that comes from great coaching."
