The risks of having so few experienced players. You play the kids too early.

Bulltish we have heaps of experienced players they just arent any good or any more.

FFS he was started hff because we had Hopper Taranto and Prestia protecting him and his mid time.
Hammy aside this kid is ready to play. He already looks a class above most of our players and he sure as hell is physically ready.

Undersized talls like Faull Armstrong and Sims if you made a case for them not being ready id probably agree but Lalor sheesh.

"The money might have been better. But, at the end of the day, Richmond showed faith in me. It's only fair that now we're 18th on the ladder, I show the faith back in the club and do everything I can to put them in front. In the end, I'm stoked I made the decision to stay. I f***ing love this club”

Officially out for the rest of the year.

Shown enough, he’ll be so exciting to watch in 2026 .

Yep.

It's between the ears and he's absolutely got it.

Update from the RFC website:

“We are all devastated for the young man, and I am sure our fans are too,” Serpell said.

“After a strong, meticulous rehab, unfortunately, he did re-injure his hamstring. It is his third time on that hamstring and the second (occasion) with us.

“The injury mechanism here for Sam this time was very different to his original injury mechanism.

“He sustained the injury in a tackle. I think anyone who throws their body at the game (in the same way) as he did, and credit to him for doing that, is going to put their body at some risk irrespective of their injury history.”

Serpell said that the Club would explore surgical options to strengthen the structure of Lalor’s hamstring.

“We are a bit concerned about the integrity of the hamstring structure,” he said.

“As part of that, we will consult a few surgeons over the next little while to see if there is some surgical intervention available for us.”

Let's hope we finally use a great surgeon that is expert at making things better and stronger

So in other words not the surgeon we were using previously.
The club that keeps giving.
