Good. Time to mix it up a little.
Perhaps give Hinkley footy director role and go with one less assistant?

I am keen to get an experienced football brain from outside the club.

It's only fair that now we're 18th on the ladder, I show the faith back in the club and do everything I can to put them in front. In the end, I'm stoked I made the decision to stay. I f***ing love this club”

Richmond Head of Coaching Performance and Development Ben Rutten will depart the Club to take up a new opportunity interstate.

Rutten returned to Richmond ahead of the 2023 AFL season to be an assistant coach, and he has continued as part of Adem Yze’s coaching panel for the past two years.

The former Adelaide player and Essendon senior coach was also previously a line coach at Richmond from 2015-18.

Richmond Executive General Manager, Football Performance, Tim Livingstone, thanked Rutten for his time at the Club.

“We were delighted to have the opportunity to bring Ben back to Richmond three years ago, such was the impact he made during his previous time with us,” Livingstone said.

“His expertise has been a great asset to both our players and coaching staff. While we are disappointed to lose Ben, we are pleased for him that he has found an opportunity to further his career.

“We wish Ben, his wife Kylie, and their boys, Jack and Bernie, all the best for the future.”

Don’t mind this. He’s the last of dimmas crew i think so now it’s all new coaches with fresh ideas and no pre existing relationships with players.
