I reckon from a mid-fielder pace/running point of view the Tigers do.

But I think the Dawks have the better of the key position players and believe me I exclude Buddy from that list.

We still seem to lack big blokes coming through. Although I am hoping that Polak will fill that void. Going by what was said at the AGM the Club is very confident that Jack Reiwoldt will fill that gap as well

Greg Miller should be lining up Beau Dowler as we speak. Divide and conquer gentlemen. We nab one of theres and they lose one in the process lol.

The scary thing is the Eagles have one of the best crop of emerging talent. Apart from Chick and one or two other midfielders they are still relatively young side unlike the Swans or Crows.

Where is Essendon's emering talent? They don't mean Mal Michael, Camporeale and Heffernan and Lloyd's comeback ???

And if it fails we at least push their contracts up too high and put the Hawks under salary cap pressure  ;).

The media's infatuation with Hawthorn is bordering on the perverse  ::). The gushing and drooling over Roughead and Franklin tonight was enough to make you :chuck. Comparing the two to the Saints getting both Riewoldt and Kosi. Nevermind the Saints have bombed even with those two in their side. It takes more than 2 players to win a flag  ;).
