Trent Cotchin on 3AW @ 7.30pm
* Russell tried to squeeze out of Healy where Cotch was in terms of winning the rising star but all Healy would say was of course he was in contention.
* Cotch said after a couple of wins it's exciting times for the Tigers.
* Healy said you were sick at 3/4 time? Cotch replied yeah but we're going alright.
* Richo will play if he pulls up well after tomorrow's training.
* Cotch said he wasn't tagging Watson but was just matched-up on him and was trying to win the ball. He said he got caught out against Watson standing in the wrong position. Allowed Watson to get on the right side for Hille's tapwork. He was disappointed with himself about that and has watched the tapes to make sure next time (next year against the Bombers) he does the right thing. Cotch said he got himself stuck in the middle of worrying about Watson and getting the ball. Needed to be fully defensive on the man or fully attacking the ball.
* He said at training he works in his kicking and handballing as turnovers cost goals.
* He was over at Riewoldt's place tonight for Jack's stir fry along with Edwards, Connors and Collins. They share dinner every Thursday and rotate who cooks.
* Healy said Jack had a quiet game after his rising star nominated effort in Perth. Cotch said yeah there was extra pressure on Jack but he will stand up this week.
* This week we need to stick 4 quarters together and have 22 contributing. Brisbane are a good side when they 22 contributing. Hopefully we can do that and get the win.
