KB scores again
Herald-Sun In Brief

KEVIN Bartlett's gradual return to his beloved Richmond will continue next month when he hosts a club function at Federation Square.

Bartlett, who played a record 403 games for the Tigers, will MC an April 3 luncheon celebrating the club's 1980 premiership.

"KB'' was infamously sacked as Richmond coach in 1991 and did not set foot back at the club until late 2007.

Last season, he proposed a toast at the club's season launch. He said of the forthcoming lunch: "It's nice to get down there . . . but I might be a little late,'' a reference to his high-rating morning show on SEN.

1980 was the year the Tigers annihilated the Magpies in a most memorable premiership.

Join the Tommy Hafey Club and the members of the 1980 premiership team as we celebrate that magnificent day in September when the Richmond Football Club re-wrote the record books.

Re-live exciting moments that include KB’s seven goals to win the Norm Smith Medal, Cloke’s big man dominance to bag six, Mark Lee’s dynamic ruckwork and Rob Wiley’s ground play.
