Consider what we have seen already. Towards the end of last season, Terry Wallace and Richmond seemed headed for a showdown over a series of political issues that included the club's failure to extend his agreement. On the basis of finishing ninth, some media experts called for it also.

Happily for the Tigers, Wallace put his insecurities aside and patched things up with the club's president, Gary March, and the two men embarked on a health and fitness campaign that appears to have worked wonders on the psyches of both.
