Wiz Cup Record
« on: February 16, 2005, 04:35:23 PM »
The Record is out in newsagents for the Wiz Cup. It's $7 but it comes with the Season Preview 2005 Guide which is pretty good. Got all the stats and all. Tip us to finish 13th.

Just noticed some weight changes from last year. Cogs has put on 4kg (88kg). Chaffey is down 4 to 78kg, Tivs -2 (84kg), Raines +3 (79kg) and Foley  +7 (78kg).

How much are Tambling, Meyer, Roach and Gilmour weighing in at?
Does anyone have half an idea on anything?

Strange.  To me Tambling and Meyer look taller than Roach and Gilmour.

No free Wizard Cup entry ticket this year?
My parents bought me a Richmond jumper and enrolled me in a junior footy clinic in 1981...look at me now.

They only had that when the Wiz Cup was a round robin comp a couple of years back. There wasn't a free either last year.

We don't even get a discount on the entry price if you are a member.

$19.50 for adults - more expensive than the H&A season - what a joke!

What a disgrace :banghead >:( :banghead

Yep  >:(.

I presume it's because we have the "privilege" to be able to sit anywhere in the Dome so they would argue in some levels it's cheaper. I like Docklands but WP is right to say it's a joke that we pay more for what is essentially a exaggerated practice game compared to the real stuff. Especially when we are already club members.
