I thought Posty took a step forward today even if he missed some easy shots liked his work.Have to leave there next 6 games in one position.

Positives for me were Griffiths , Helbig and Post. They at least showed something and Thursfield clearly beat Jetta

Negatives  - Houli

Dimma needs to put more emphasis on defence. We leaked goals....again
Tanking has put the club where it's at - Paul Roos

Agree mostly with Pope
Positives for me were:
- Helbig played his best game for the club.
- Grigg played his best game for a while. His marking under pressure was good
- Vickery. Took a really good contested mark around the ground and was far more competitive in the ruck than Browne and Graham have ever been
- Ben Griffiths played a very good game.

Negatives:
- Turnovers
-Jack. Didn't work hard enough.
- Edwards, tried hard but just can't kick. He took a really good mark in the 3rd quarter then proceeded to turn it over
- Newmans turnover to Monfries
- Houli's brain fade before 3 qtr time
- Over use of the ball. Too much handpassing
-No enough contribution from small forwards

positives for me is that I didnt waste my saturday night by attending the game instead my wife and I went to a warm bistro and I had a good steak and some cold beer. I easily avoided watching the last quarter because my live updates on my phone told me not to watch.

It was good to see Griff and Post get another game in the big league I'm positive it will be more benificial to the team and their development in the long run. They should stay there for the rest of the year.
I liked Vickery in the ruck. how good was it to see someone who can compete ALL over the ground. I hope this continues.

Negatives..... WE have a long way to go.
The club that keeps giving.

I feel a bit bad for Houli, he got sold a nightmare pass and got stitched up didn't want to give a deliberate out of bounds, stopped on the whistle, but the bummer didn't go behind the mark just ran off and kicked the goal.  He won't ever let that happen again I bet, but it was one of those stuffing ridiculous situations where in the past you would of killed the ball but now the AFL rules nazis have so many caveats and if buts and maybes the poor bastards dunno what to do.

Yeah Owl spot on.

Looking at the play hurts to watch but,

1. Helbig missed the target Houli and therefor wasn't able to take a mark go back and assess things, as the clear instruction was ice the clock till 3 qtr time.

2. Trying to ice the clock the members wing was congested so Houli looked to go back to the southern stand wing looking for free options. There was none, no-one was working hard enough for him. I think Helbig was manned up.

3. No options with Crameri bearing down, can't kick it long to touch, probably got a bake last week for bombing the ball out of defence without looking as he kicked it to Carlton wingers all day.

4. Fell over. Gone.

I was more upset at the rest of the group not helping out and working hard to make an option.
I was annoyed at Houli who gave up when tackled, couldn't understand why he would just accept the holiding the ball decision. He could have handpassed it along the boundary or atleast ridden the tackle out of bounds.

Worst case scenario if hes tackled force the crab to kick a goal from the boundary, don't sook up and let him walk into an open goal.

Houli should have given the handball back to Helbig.

I thought we looked good in the change guernsey with our white shorts.
Maybe we should bring back the yellow shorts next year when we wear it again.
