Round 1 ticket update
richmondfc.com.au
Fri 23 Mar, 2012

With a crowd of around 80,000 anticipated at next Thursday night’s Richmond v Carlton opening round Blockbuster at the MCG, Tiger members, who don’t have a reserved seat, are advised to consider upgrading for the match.

Purchase your tickets here - http://premier.ticketek.com.au/shows/show.aspx?sh=RICHM0112&cat=25004858B2322DFC

It’s also recommended that Richmond supporters pre-purchase their tickets for Thursday night’s season-opener, in order to avoid queues and the potential that the game could end up a sell-out.

The Club has sold double the number of pre-sold tickets compared to the same time last year.

Not necessarily.
The Benny Cousins match drew 87K yet the GF replay between the Dawks an Cats was on the Friday and drew much less.

I'm finding it hard to believe there'll 'only' be 72k there given that's been the average crowd figure for Rich vs Carl over recent years when we've known we would get thrashed. The Tiger bandwagon has kicked into gear again thanks to the preseason form so the only way it will 'stay' at 72k is if the MCC expects the Carlton away supporters to drop away significantly and not turn up. If that's the case then it will be a massive pro-Tigers crowd.

I remember the filth singing the song at the start of the last quater last year.
So arrogant and cocky yet when its a 50/50 ball game they stay in security of their own homes.

Pathetic slime

Better if they don't come, leaves more room for real football supporters!

Carlton supporters usually have things to do when the footys on and their still at home, embezzling money from their employers and sticking it in a swiss bank account wouldnt be an easy thing to do but for them its probably a daily exercise. Its like Collingwood parents with their toddlers, whilst everyone else is taking their 3 or 4 year olds to kinder, the pies mums and dads are teaching their kids how to pinch cars and teaching them the road to the local parole authorities.
