much of our depth is POTENTIAL depth and not ACTUAL depth.
Them's beautiful words, blx
Only a couple of years ago it would have " much of our depth is DEADMEAT depth and not ACTUAL depth lol
Our borderline players a couple of years ago were ones that had been tried and tested in the league at various clubs and we knew their capabilities and their full potential. And no matter how good they were goign to become, were always going to be borderline players, ie Houlahans, Nicholls, the list is endless.
So even if some of the boys don't live up to our expectations, at least there is hope and potential there that they will eventually come good. They have a better chance under the tutillage of a Wallace than a Frawley, so here's hoping.
As long as we get consistency from the leaders - Johnson, Richo, Bowden, etc - because last year in a couple of games it was the kids showing the way. Anyways it all sounds like a future to be looking forward to rather than wait hoping the year will end quick where we can turnover another third of our list like we did there for a couple of years. Hopefully all these kids will develop
