For the younger guys to get use to the system we play and learn the patterns of play. It's a gradual build-up. Gradually increase scrimmage time and game time until we're ready to play in the AAMI preseason cup later this month.
* Senior blokes came back on Jan 11. So they had a good break given last season ended late October.
* The 1-4 year players came back in December so we got a couple of good weeks of training into our cubs. No particular standouts. We're just happy with how they came back in good condition. Mentioned Dow, CCJ, Ross and RCD.
* MJR and Samson Ryan will both take time to develop to play at the elite level but we're excited about both of them.
* The good thing is there's pressure on all positions from those who didn't played in our premiership as well as those that did.
