Your Top 5 Philosophies on Recruiting

1. Burst speed away from a contest
2. Good kick
3. Game awareness
4. Never pick a player with a hyphenated name
5. Grill em before you pick em. If they cry dont pick em. If you pick em and they cry on draft night after being selected youve picked a dud.

I always worry when they struggle to touch their nose whilst hopping
"The money might have been better. But, at the end of the day, Richmond showed faith in me. It's only fair that now we're 18th on the ladder, I show the faith back in the club and do everything I can to put them in front. In the end, I'm stoked I made the decision to stay. I f***ing love this club”

For me I'd be wary of getting anyone who was 'late to learn AFL'. Grassroots is good, latecomers rarely blossom IMO.

Good character, although most kids can be silly.

Good kicks.

Blokes that aren't afraid of a contest.
