Swan Kennelly poised to announce retirement
Thu 29 January, 2009
SYDNEY Swans defender Tadhg Kennelly is expected to announce his retirement from AFL football this afternoon.
Senior coach Paul Roos will join Kennelly, who has one year remaining on his contract, at a press conference at the club's offices at 3.30pm AEDT.

This will hurt the Swans badly if true. Kennelly was one of their best runners and last year they lacked enough run in their side. Good for us though of course if Sydney drop down and out of the top 8.
