I've never liked our current logo but I am aware it has a fair bit of support. I agree with CUB, that's my favourite too.

Seems the Club is looking into updating the logo.

Do we have plans to update our logo as the current one is 15 years old?

Richmond Football Club:
This is something that Brendon Gale and his team have been looking in to and any changes will come with some form of consultation with our membership base.

Modifying the centenary logo

Using Ramps' idea

Still like the 2nd one - maybe minus the stars now and probably if we got rid of the banner at the bottom and just had est1885 in small writing it would go ok as a logo.

Modifying the centenary logo

I like this one  ;D

I do too, but having seen it for a while now as an option, I'd probably prefer to get rid of the ribbon and just have the Est 1885 in white text at the bottom of the sheild.

Here's a couple of goes at the logo without the ribbon

That's perfect to me anyway  :thumbsup

Agree WP.  If I was picky I would probably want to look at another font but that would be all.

Ditch the current Tiger head and change it completely.
I like what the club has done with the Tiger on the membership site.
That Tiger head above looks tired. Let's freshen our image and go with something bold.
It's time for an entirely new logo.

Interesting view Mr Magic

I hate that Tiger on the membership web-site  ;D

The Tiger on the website is too detailed for a logo and would also scare the little kiddies lol. Also according to the Club the Tiger head is a strong brand image for us.

I like the leaping Tiger over the sash but it needs a 21st century makeover.

Busier versions with stars

Melbourne have added 12 stars to their jumper

http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/demons-star-gazing/story-e6frf9jf-1225964773213

THE inclusion of 12 stars for every premiership. The stars are shaped in an incomplete circle that will always remain incomplete to reflect the Dee's constant pursuit of success.

Agree that the Tiger is too detailed for a logo. I just like it.
Primarily as it's menacingly staring down the barrel whereas it's always bothered me how the Tiger head looks off to the side.
Agree with you, I would love to see a modernised version of the 1980 Tiger leaping over the sash to maintain a traditional feel yet bring it into the 21st century.

After 15 (mediocre) years with the same badge it's time for a complete corporate makeover IMO.

Somewhat ambiguous with the dees - the 12 stars could also represent their 12 spoons, in which case having an incomplete circle is quite sensible.

St Kilda would have 26 stars  :lol
