Interesting to see who the final 26 will be. I'd leave out King, Thomson and Polak out of those names as we know what they can do (or can't do) although Kingy will be probably play as he missed the Hawthorn game.

B:    Thursty    McGuane      Farmer
HB:  Webberley  Post         Newman
C:    Tambling  Deledio      Jackson
HF:   Taylor     Riewoldt    Cousins
F:     Morton     Vickery      Nahas
R:  Simmonds   Martin   Cotchin
Int: Graham, Moore, Connors, Edwards, Hislop, Gourdis, Dea, Roberts

edit: If McGuane isn't playing then our backline will be vunerable again  :-\

Why will it they are hardly playing with a forward line?

They're playing 3 rucks - Ottens, West and Simpson - so Otto could play forward next to Lonergan and Podsiadly. The latter two aren't great but they won't be playing against a proven backline either. We were exposed for a lack of height and body strength in defence last week. McGuane role is usually to play on the tallest forward.

So, what players have they got out compared to us, we have nearly a full strength side and they are minus most of their main players. I am not treating this game anything other than a practice match and I didn't say anything that would indicate other wise. All I said is with the amount of players they have out compared to our side we should beat them,. Play the youth ra ra ra we all know that, everyone has been saying that since half way through last year.  :thumbsup

I think one of the flaws in your agrument WAT is how you appear to view Geelong's second stringers.

Some of them would easlity walk into a young side like ours.

So even if we have nearly a full squad that doesn't equate to us being ahead of a weaker Cats line up

Interesting to see who will come out of that side actually, looks pretty close to having all our main players in that will play round one, bar Polak. Might wan't to play the bets of that lot and include some of the newbies to see where we are at playing the Cats. Interesting to see Polo out too!!

?

Yeah

WTF?  What is the relevance of your first post to my point?

I believe that Relton Webberley Taylor Dea will all play.

Interesting to note that White, Rance, Mcmahon all left out of the side.

Gourdis is developing very nicely indeed i believe.

A statement made easier by circumstances - they will want to have a look at each kid and give each one a 'taste' so most of the list will miss one game anyway but in White and Rance's case I would be willing to bet they have been told to go back and work on their deficiencies.

Has anybody heard how Richmond's 2nd 18 is going? I believe they have a match at Craigieburn (against Essendon's 2nd 18?) which started at 2pm. Any scores or updates?
