All I can say is that once we delist Simmonds, Mcmahon, Hislop, White, Tuck, King and maybe another then we can boost our midfield stocks even further in the draft(assuming we get pick 4). We may get the best midfielder in the draft. With Foley back and with pick 4 our midfield will have the right numbers. Unlike you I rate our defensive talls Thursty, Mcguane and Post. In time they will be one of the better defences in the league with Newman, Connors and Tambling running the ball out Moore will be handy back up. I think Edwards has a future and will improve with experience. Edwards, Collins, Nason will look good on the wing. I think Graham has a future. He will be no worse than 3/4 of the ruckman in the league so there you go. Forward line will work itself out this year and will really prepare us for 2011. Looking forward to some wins soon and a big 2011

Too small for key position and hasnt enough speed to play else where.

Cotchin and Martin would be better off in a side like the Saints or Geelong but then so would Scully and Trengove. Just a stupid article that is designed to have a slap at our club by pointing out the obvious - our kids have it harder than other clubs because they do not have the more experienced players to take the focus and responsibility off them while they are developing.

Our younger players will either descend into self doubt and negative mindset or they will strengthen their resolve, unify and emerge stronger from the early experience and responsibility. I'm hoping the second is the case
