AFL releases 40-man All-Australian squad

All Australian selection panel is: Andrew Demetriou (chairman), Adrian Anderson, Kevin Bartlett, Gerard Healy, James Hird, Glen Jakovich, Mark Ricciuto and Robert Walls.
 
The squad members named are as follows:

Brett Deledio, Richmond. Never Previously selected. 22 games in 2010. 302 kicks, 115 marks, 254 handballs, averaging 13.7 kicks, 5.2 marks, 11.5  handballs. Two Goals Four Behinds. 35 Clearances, 76 Inside 50m, 93 Rebound 50m (fifth in the AFL).  

Jack Riewoldt, Richmond. Never Previously selected. 22 games in 2010. 219 kicks, 123 marks, 37 handballs, averaging 10.0 kicks, 5.6 marks, 1.7 handballs. 78 Goals (first in the AFL) 39 Behinds. 10 Clearances, 41 Inside 50m, One Rebound 50m.

No surprise both Jack and Lids have made it in the AA squad. Both have had an excellent season. Jack is a shoo-in as the Coleman Medallist. Lids will probably miss out given Luke Hodge and the media love-in for Harry O'Brien will get the HBF possies.

Sorry did I miss out some of your favourite Collingwood players.

Jolly played decent for only half the season, OBrien as a stopper is not a better rebound player than Malceski, Deledio, Hodge or Goddard. KP Backs Taylor and Lake are miles better.

If your going to run your mouth try and back it up. Put your changes if you've watched enough football this year to know.

Oh I forgot you don't rate Jack Riewoldt.. Maybe Cleve Hughes should be AA full forward?

You do realise that there are 4 teams that didn't get ANY players even on the shortlist? As the team who came 15th we're lucky to get 2 yet you think Connors should be a chance? Get a grip!
