Royce Hart & KB for certain.

With the final slot do you go for class - Bourke, Dyer, Titus, Clay, Stewart, Weightman, Rioli, Raines, Richo... tough call.

Or do we go for needs

At small forward the best I saw in yellow and black was Nathan Brown before he snapped his leg.

Or do we go for a ruckman... Lee was before my time, but I'm thinking Brad Ottens. He did play for us - I reckon the 18 year old Ottens would be snapped up in today's draft as the ideal "ruck/fwd" - he was all australian at 21 after all.

I'd go with Captain Blood. You can't beat greatness.

Got a question for the old timers - what was Ian Stewart like? He was before my time - but multiple brownlows says he must've been pretty useful.

Like others have said would have loved to include others eg Naish

Dude you're off your nut !  Surely you jest ? So you've gone Stafford ( as someone else unbelievably did ) and Naish ?? Let me guess your third choice. Is it The Magnificent One...Todd Menegola ?

Three R's for me.. Richo , Raines , Rioli...and Francis Bourke would be handy

Love Richo to death but no.

and not a ruckman, they are all way to small to compete.

KB because he could really turn it on for the finals.

Billy Barrot so he could teach the youngsters how to do a drop kick.

and Royce Hart at CHF

Jack Dyer was too small to compete?

You must be kidding - there was no one bigger, or better, for any club.

Played at 185cm and 89 kg.

A legend but not for these times.

I'm not knocking you mate but Jack Dyer is THE LEGEND of footy - timeless.

No one came close, the big guys and the little guys all fell to his power and skill.

Hart, KB and Lee if we are looking for players that can fill a role/need in today's side.  Dyer, Titus and Mopsy if I could indulge a wish to see them in action.

Extremely skillful and had football smarts to burn.  Not what you would call "in and under" in today's parlance but was very damaging (especially on his left foot but was very good on his right) delivering into the forward line.
