You blokes have no idea how highly Trengove is rated at Port

Dead right JT and thats why we need him at the RFC, may have to trade Edwards and McGuane and Jackson... ;D

We need McIntosh more than we need Trengrove. Assuming we got McIntosh, he'll be pretty handy for 3 years if he stays fit. Browne can improve his jumping at Coburg. Derickx and an 18 year old ruckman will be the others. Graham to be traded or delisted. McIntosh is 203cm and 26 years old. Would be like Stafford filling a hole while our other 3 young ruckman improve. Our team would something like:

fb batchelor rance newman
hb grimes post deledio
c edwards cotchin conca
hf morton griffiths king
ff nahas reiwoldt vickery
foll mcintosh martin foley
int astbury helbig midfielder(1st round) grigg(sub)

Let's get Goldstein.

Offer him a massive front loaded deal and make him want to leave Naught Melbourne. Then give them Foley and Morton.  :thumbsup

Trade Graham and Thursfield to GWS for 3rd Round pick. Trade 3rd Round pick and Tuck for McIntosh.
Trade Moore and 2nd Round pick for Trengrove.

Be logical.

1 - Tuck has ZERO value. He takes a list place at north, more chance of getting it over the line just for the draft pick. Which obviously isnt enough anyway.

2 - Moore has ZERO value. He takes a list place at Port, more chance of getting it over the line just for the draft pick. Which obviously isnt enough anyway.

Imagine us trading Griffiths for a broken down aging port player and a 2nd round pick. You would be tearing the club to shreds.

These arent in the ballpark of what would be required to land either.

I know we need a ruck and key defender, but we should also try and get some compo picks and go sick at the 2012 draft.

Morton to Gold Coast for one of their compo picks.
McGuane to Brisbane for one of theirs.

And you may not think I care for you

Maybe we could trade Morton and Edwards to Port for Trengove..

Yeah but if Trengove walks they get nothing and he goes into the pre season draft where we have plenty of cap room to set him up with a front loaded contract.

They wouldn't want another Nick Stevens situation.

Trengove won't be leaving Port unless Port get something worthwhile out of the deal. He wouldn't ditch them like that

Who the eff do you think we're trading with? Have Wallet and Miller got their own club with all these players you want???

Bit confused with what you're trying to say. Are you suggesting the trades aren't fair?

McIntosh is in the 2s. Jackson and exchange of draft picks is likely to land him. Goldstein is there future. McIntosh is not. Jackson is a leader North have very few of.
Goldsack is playing in the Collingwood 2nds and is frustrated. Foley is a B-A grade midfiedler with A grade pace. Collingwood will snap this up.
Trengove wants to come home and we're in the box seat, Edwards is a runner which Port have few of.

 :lol

Mc is playing twos because he's just back from injury. Jackson is a leader they dont have many of? So what? The fat bloke that lives next door to me is in the leadership group for his clubs 3rds...do North need him too? Jackson for a top ruckman  :lol
How do you know Goldsack is frustrated? Did you ask him?
Edwards for Trengove  :lol

You have indeed lost the plot.

Sigh... How about make a suggest Einstein. 3 players that we need.

How would you get them?

Monky was probably right about you. How are you supposed to be involved with a TAC club again man?

Would love McIntosh but Jackson won't get it done unless Brad Scott is a fool. Trengove would be beautiful too, but Edwards? WTF are you thinking, 'Einstein'?

Stupid post..

3 players we need, how do we get them?

Make a suggestion instead of replying 3 times that my suggestion is rubbish. stuffing hell.

Pope, it always makes for interesting reading but to quote a famous Simpsons episode - I think you are in Chocolate Land
"[Homer wakes up from a dream about The Land of Chocolate]
Homer: Not dreaming, not dreaming, not drea- Wha-? Dammit, I was dreaming! Why is life so unfair? All I want is the ability to eat everything in sight and turn into a giant ball! Is that too much to ask?! Damn you, reality!"

Lol Happy to be in Chocolate land, I think these 3 players would be attainable in the trade period, meaning clubs would be willing to listen to a trade and wont ask overs as they all have reasons to leave

McIntosh = Playing 2's, no longer number 1 ruckman, behind a very in form Goldstein.
Goldsack = Can't play regular senior football in the best team in the comp. Premiership Player.
Trengove = Wants to come home.

All attainable, I maybe asking for to much with my suggestions. What would we give up for them?

Is irrelevant if he wants to come to Victoria though?

100% Exactly right.

This is why we shouldn't pay overs for him.
