Some Positive News
« on: July 15, 2012, 11:53:31 AM »
The sun came up this morning and even though I'm still reeling I still believe we can make the finals providing we only drop two games for the season.
Alot depends on how Geelong go but if they struggle 12 wins will get you in, that's 5 from 7.
Bring back Maric, Griffiths, Jackson, Martin and we look a whole lot better.

The sun was always going to come UP! Stop thinking we will/can/could/possibly play in the finals, it is GONESKI! Players will now begin to believe that the "social worker" is not the person that will bring success! Prepare for christmas now and enjoy your new year!

Thats it, i still see a lot of positives out of the year.

Its clear that our best 22 is very competitive, once we lose anymore than a handful of that bunch we really fall away.

Still need to clean out a few and hope that the new blood like Arnott, Piva, Darrou etc come through next year and the year after.

Go Tigers.

If we played the first half the way we played the second half we would've won by 6 goals.
Shocker of a first half.

If we have to rely on others to lose so we can play finals and dish up poo...forget it....

No positives here...

hmm positives.
moore got thru the game unscathed and looks as though he still has something to offer.
we actually rewarded graham and webberley with a game for good coburg form thats a good process to go thru. unfortnately they didnt show a thing but have probably made it easier for us to make a call on them.
brett ohanlon got another game fantastic.

Given our mentality it wouldn't surprise me if we win next week. We'll be the underdog hunter again not expected to win and with nothing to lose.

The positive out of yesterday is that we KNOW FOR  SURE that our depth is really bad.

The handling is the off loading of dead wood.

Recruit big bodied and ultra competitive mind set individuals.

Get a Richmond reserves team to properly develop the depth.
