I have fallen asleep during the previous Hunger Games movies. I don't get the fuss. I like the premise since I'm generally into dystopian kind of stuff but those movies just don't do anything for me.

I liked the first 2 but the latest ones were pretty average. I think they spent too much effort splitting it into two movies to make a buck instead of focusing on making one good movie.

a couple of weeks ago now, but went to the deckchair to see some like it hot.

I must admit i was surprised, but it is a really entertaining film, and it wasnt just the cleverly designed dressed Marilyn wore to give the illusion you could see her t@s. Actually, even though she played her role well, it wasnt her that made this film, IMO.

A film ahead of its time, and very funny. Many of the jokes were double entendres or subtle references to more risqué subjects that were able to get past the sensors of the time (but wouldn't have here, although it was condemned by the Catholic Church's Legion of Decency.)

The movie was filmed in black and white when color vision was available, supposedly due to not being able to get the makeup right on the men, which may be true, but i suspect it also had something to do with aforementioned dresses.

An entertaining film that i would recommend anyone who appreciates well written and produced movies (except the hardly prudes and other members of the Catholic Church's Legion of Decency)

i give it 4 bills

This has nothing to do , what so ever, with the royal commission into child abuse

Going tomorrow night with the lads. One of them cracked and saw it yesterday before the rest of us (not good enough in my book). Can not wait!

Each to their own. If we all agreed then the world would be a boring place aye  :thumbsup

What ages are these people? I loved the original 3 as i grew up with it, and didnt bother with latest 3 (pre star wars) but this was right on the money for mine and for many people i have spoken to.

I would rather not discuss the movie as most haven't seen it, so i wont ask why they didn't like it.

My mate (also a huge star wars fan) suggested the best way to watch the all the movies is in this order.

A new hope, Empire strikes back, the final scenes of The Phantom Menace (the lightsaber fight Qui Gon Jin and a Young Obi v the Sith Lord), Attack of the Clones, Revenge of the Sith, Return of the Jedi and then the new one.

If I'm allowed, the Force Awakens gets 4&1/2 from me, a huge Star Wars man!
