No impact for us.
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Agree with this...still requires development however, looks OK for mine.

Yes he made some basic errors like getting caught a few times but he got some hard balls, made a nice intercept mark and then delivered a perfect pass inside the forward 50. Was obviously nervous but looks like he has some tools to work with...vision will need to improve, so agree with that.

At least he was trying to take the game on. Probably works 9 times out of 10 in VFL when taking a tackler on but didn't adjust to the pace of AFL (even pre-season) level. Something to work with but proved that along with some of the other young blokes that he's still a fair way off. Will be better for the hit out.

Showed some brief glimpses but the previews of the bad stuff were longer and far more detailed. Early days of course but at this point in time it's not hard to see why he was the least talked about of last year's kids.

Well last night the game was taken on.

Sydney keeping the ball in the richmond forward line, playing someone back and pressing into our half was a very effective tactic and beat us. As per usual.   It seems we were crying out for a kid that would take the game on. Rather than a loaping Chaplin or a squibby  houli
