We have to win round 1. No ifs, buts or maybes.
Every game against that scum is important and we  MUST win.

It will unacceptable to lose. No other game preceding this game has any importance.
It's absolutely imperative that we win. It's massive to the psyche of the club, each player and the coach that we win.
Furthermore we can't allow a former Richmond premiership player, that has already disgraced himself by coaching the filth, any joy or satisfaction from winning his first game with the CHEATS.
Its an abomination that he would even consider coaching them after having the 1980 premiership medallion around his neck.

One last thing. We must win. We have to win. We will win. Losing is not an option!

P. S. ......NO EXCUSES!

We say that every year, the yellow and black turn up in their thousands then we bloody lose.
Carlton players, I'm convinced ,get a little hush hush bonus payout if they beat us.
They always seem to play out of their skins for that game.

It shouldn't, wouldn't and couldn't matter if Carlscum had 25 men on the field or were able to cheat, as they do, and have an all Australian all star team playing in their disgusting jumper or they pulled out of their cheating bag of tricks another Helen D'Amico.
We MUST smash them and NEVER allow them to beat us again.
As Geelong has achieved with the dawks so we must also achieve.
A never lose to them again mentality.
It's win at all costs when we do battle against them.

It's absolutely, undoubtably the most important game in 2013. That's all they players should be focused on regardless of any negativity that may rear its ugly head.

Nothing CAN stop us and nothing WILL stop us from winning this game.
The club that keeps giving.

Not sure why people think that losing to the scum will be a disaster. Many thought they were top 4 material last year and were on course for that till injuries hit them hard.
They are ahead of us in development and have a better coach now.  Even if we lose I think we can still show a lot of improvement this coming season! :gotigers

Logically wouldn't you think the new Carlton gameplan will be rusty in round 1.

It depends on who Carlton want to beat more. Us in round 1 or make their statement against the Pies in round 2. Time will tell which game in their first block of 4 they have pencilled in. Either way the cheats will be either 1-1 or 0-2 after 2.
