It's lose culture that results.
It's selfish culture that is rampant.
Blokes happy to get their pay week in week out and not over exert themselves in doing so.
Hence very few team players and little to no team ethic.

Need. I say it. The Skata Cycle.

you can crap on about hartley and FJ Miller and the boxing coach but for me the reason other clubs new recruits have an effect is because of one word "Culture"

we have proven this year we still dont have it. Loser mentality still exists at Punt road

I notice tonight when Daisy had a go at Penslebury, mccafer came in straight away and ripped him off with a few bumps.

Langdon first year first minute of play stands next to daisy and gives a few hard bumps remind him his not going to be treated lightly.

I honestly cant remember if Titch tambling or any of his fantasy island finocchio mates have ever done anything like this.

they run the opposite way. il never forget that game with King vrs Pies when Brown and co just walked away and left king to defend himself. What a farce but nothings changed and that same mentality still exists at Punt road

Was that the game Bowden turned and walked the other way?

No. It's the game where a melee broke out and the umpire decided to throw the ball up, so Bowdo, Tuck and several others chose to play football instead of involving themselves in a petty scrap when we were 70 points down.

Huge opportunity missed. If. I was in the same position would have clocked Maxwell gone bang bang Mexican style to Didak and gone out my way flying the flag.

We were 70 points down yep time to play some disciplined footy.

Hawthorn had a line in the sand game in 04 the last all in I remember we had was in 2011 when Ryder ripped Vickery's jumper at quarter time.

Hawthorn pumped the Saints by a lazy 145 pts ..... 175 - 30.

Add to that their ressies Box Hill are up 142 - 36 on Frankston, who our ressies could only draw against  :P.

Tom Hislop was in there with brilliant jumper punches on Maxwell. Plenty of blokes going at it but the football was in play. If Bowdo went around and belted blokes then his haters would be all over him for going out in a dirty way. He couldn't win that day, not with his haters and certainly not on the scoreboard :lol
