Unlikely a ruling will be through in next few weeks I'd have thought.
Who isn't a fan of the thinking man's orange Tim Fleming?

But you see, it's not me, it's not my family.
In your head, in your head they are fighting,
With their tanks and their bombs,
And their bombs and their guns.
In your head, in your head, they are crying...

If the right thing is done by the afl/asada/courts, then the bombres will be kicked out of the finals and then we're in guaranteed

The Bombers won't be "kicked out" of the finals. That's done and dusted.

The current situation = The Show Cause notices, are against individuals not the Club. So the players are the ones in the gun not the Club. Only way the Bombers don't play finals if all the players were to get suspended meaning the the club cannot field a side.

The sad fact is that no players are likely to be suspended before this season ends. Take the court case out if it

Show cause notices first, players get a certain number of days to answer them, show why they shouldn't be issued with infraction notices. Next stage is infraction notices issued, then a tribunal hearing. Can see this going another 3-9 months before suspensions are handed out

I can see this going on so long that the players involved will all be retired and in nursing homes before suspensions are served. Nice deflection Essendon. Reminds me of that Leunig cartoon where an umpire goes up to an old player on his deathbed and finally awards him the free kick he should have paid him in the 1935 Grand Final. I wonder what Justin Charles thinks of all this?

Three really enjoyable experiences for me this weekend; Tigers beating the Crows, Buckley's (Perfect Storm) post match and the look of "WTF have I gotten myself into" on Roos face as his Team cops a 64 point Rogering at the hands of a 19 man GWS side.  :lol :rollin :lol

What a beautiful morning. Blues jammed up the jacksy and spring has sprung in Melbourne.

What gifts will today present?

Gold Coast beating Essendon?
GWS beating Nayfuns Poys?
Will North destroy Adelaide and keep our finals window open?

kangaroos are missing their shots on goal. It could come back to bite them in the end.

Adelaide up by a point at half-time (37-36) after trailing by 15 points midway through that second quarter  :-\.

Essendon lead the Suns 33-24 midway through the 2nd qtr.

Crows with the last 4 goals  :banghead. Say goodbye to finals  :P.

Edit: North finally get one back. They trail 44-51.
