R u kidding? It's Round 1 and a very scratchy game, Carlton played a ultra negative stopping game and yet we had our chances to win by 7 plus goals. The way some of you doomsayers carry on you'd think we got beat by 10 goals.  We will only improve from that and will b a better side than last year. Stop always trying to find the negatives and look at the positives, we unearthed beauty in McIntosh (oh but hang on FJ couldn't pick his nose). Taylor Hunt is going to be a very good player for us and we had the gumption to play him in a role that he hasn't been familiar with in his first 60 odd AFL games.  Griffiths stood up when he was needed and will only get better.

So plenty of positives but it's to easy to be a keyboard warrior that sits there looking at how bad things CAN be, we won, 4pts in the bank and now for the Bulldogs

so you admit it was scratchy or ordinary against a side who most of you think will be near the bottom.
there was plenty to not like and i sure hope those in charge can see it because if they dont it the failings wont   be addressed. imo not a lot actually changed from last yr.

poo win.

Fools Gold.

Carlton bottom four team and we lose a quarter and a half to them.

The usual suspects and Dimmers "deer in headlights" coaching technique haven't changed.

When blokes like Macintosh and Hunt walk in and perform it shows how peeweak our guys really are.

Sorry. Couldn't get excited.

From Barret's 'Sliding Doors' article ...

Richmond

IF ........... the Tigers simply believe they're on the right track after their win against Carlton...

THEN ...... we'd suggest a deep breath and a commitment to a whole lot more hard work.

Carlton went hell for leather and it payed off early, we settled well after a shaky start.
Bloody wrapped to beat the scum, very positive seeing it was left to most of the second tier players.
Dusty cotch Martin won't be kept quiet that often, jack was great.
Smash the bullfrogs next week is the next step.

Damian Barrett has told Triple M’s Rush Hour that he has big concerns for Collingwood and Richmond ahead of the 2015 season.

... And the outlook isn’t that good for the Tigers either, according to Damo.

He struggled to see any improvements made by Richmond during the NAB Challenge since last year.

damien barrett definitely does struggle as a journalist.....if you could even call him that

there is some sense to what they are saying. we should have beaten them by 12 goals but didn't, that we only won the game by 4 goals is a concern.

Damian Barrett, the Kyle Sandilands of footy journalism.

Trashy, turdy, crappy with a hint of self righteousness.

Waste of words.

Big deal regarding the margin .....season is a marathon not a sprint .

Won without getting out of third gear - that is the positive .
