Ok so today is a complete failure. There is no other way to put it. We don't have finals footballers. North whether we like it or not is better than us, they have better performers and better players. Moneyball and cheap recruiting can only get you so far. We have lost again today and deservedly so. If Blair Hartley and Damien Hardwick reckon this side has any chance of ever winning anything - they are kidding themselves.

Its time to get out the chequebooks and start getting real big game performers. Running around picking up players like Yarran will make no difference to us. We finished where we deserved too. That's it. That's the truth.

Last quarter display from the umps was a joke  .

That one isolated was a blatant howler though. Took on the play, was tackled, tried to kick it and hit fresh air. It wasn't a 50/50, open to interpretation or out of view or anything like that. It was just absolutely wrong and we lost a shot on goal for the lead from a great position because of it. The momentum never swung our way again since then.
