RICHMOND is in the market for a new recruiting officer, with the club's vastly improved financial position allowing it to expand its football department.

Football director Greg Miller had been filling both roles.

The club has announced a financial turnaround of $2.2 million, which will allow it to hire a recruiting manager for next season and beyond.

Miller this year took over recruiting from Greg Beck.

Miller will select Richmond's new crop of players in Saturday's national draft, then begin the process of luring another experienced recruiter to Punt Rd.

dont ya think pahoff is the man 4 the job..............................not! he in his own mind full of fantasy and faeces believes he knows all about junior talent. spose we are not playing 4 picks anymore so he will definately not be inlione 4 the job  :rollin

He also comes off as a type of guy who you wouldn't want coaching an under 12's team!  :help

Francis Jackson likely to get recruiting manager gig

Richmond is the only club now in the market for a full-time recruiting manager for 2006, but the Tigers are believed likely to appoint lead scout Francis Jackson, who has worked closely with football director Greg Miller, to head up their recruiting.
