Not on the field he aint, i've always defended him as i've always been of the belief that he has never been used properly until this year, but he doesn't have any balls, avoids a contested situation like the plague and will shirk a contest around once a game.

Its not his job to go him and get the hardball i know, but still that doesn't mean your not allowed to get in there once in a while!

I wouldn't say Kayne avoided contests this year although he can still improve in that area even for a HFF. In the past definitely - a close game against the Blues a year or two ago sticks out when deep in the last quarter  the ball bounced between him and an opponent and he went at it half-heartedly. This year however I remember him taking the hit on a few occasions when he had to.
