How do you rate our draft performance?

After a few hours to let our picks sink in, how do you rate how we went?

Good.

Considering what was available at the time of our picks, i think we've done very well.

considering what was left...i give this a 7.5/10

and thats from someone who doesnt often give praise on draft day. They got what they could. And thats ok. Without Hughes at 24 however...I would have rated this a 5 at best.

Agree completely. You never know with Miller, but he says we were looking at Casserly with pick 24. This could have been very difficult for some supporter to swallow.

Just very relieved and glad we ended up taking a "tall"

Will be interesting to see these kids develop. I was away all day yesterday so I haven't seen any tape of any of our recruits but going by the stats (ie their weights in particular) I reckon there's gonna be alot work in the gym over the next 12 months  ;)

Oakley-Nicholls, Hughes and Casserly are pretty good pickups, but Clark, Hughes and Lucy would've been heaps better!

Lucy was overrated when he was mentioned as a top 10/1st rounder, but going at 66 is probably a bit of value for the bombers, if not what he was worth anyway!

Guy can't kick and has questionable 1v1 skills, but has nice athleticism and is a alright defender!

Lucy was overated and thats why he was taken so late in the draft. Oakley Nicholls,  Hughes and Casserley are fine. 3 players who will should be good at the level.

Lucy - Sounds like another Richards type, where the bummers swapped a 1st rounder for a 4th rounder.

Happy with the type of player drafted, therefore 7.5/10

Will be looking forward to the next 2 years for these guys to see how they develop.

whatever comes before over the moon well thats what i think of our draft.

not what i expected but now that i've had time to assess, jeez its not too bad after all.

JON - another F1 motor in the side along wit lids, tambo and meyer.

Hughes - seems a very balanced human being (wow dont believe i just said that about a croweater) sounds like a piggy dunstall type. very quick lead, vice like hands and good attitude.

Travis Casserly - very quick, excellent kick and his marks stick...

pretty sound to me... 9/10
