I believe we'll be a lot better, but the only way were winning the premiership is if Deledio becomes superman, Richo kicks 100, Brown kicks 70 and Cogs and Tuck tie for the brownlow!

Its OK for 2006 to see aging sides like Collingscum and scummers rated as a better chance to make the finals as RFC develops the basis of a consistent quality top 4 side.

The betting rankings really do rate the current RFC list as to where it is at as for 2006, and not over-rate the potential of the list as it does not have the wins on the board as yet.

You may also notice that the scummers are also rated as more likely to win the spoon !  Now that would be an excellant start to Lloyd's captaincy !

LOL Darth. Imagine choosing a diver as captain. I know a bomber supporter whose said if they have to finish on the bottom of the ladder make it 2006 because of that draft. Now that's confidence  ;D.

As for us, the competition is so even that a good or bad injury run can make a huge difference. With a good run we can realistically make the finals. A premiership might be a tad wishful thinking though lol.

Yeah MT, the scummers have lost a bit of the swagger in the walk, and now realise that they are on the slide.  Will be very, very interesting to see the scramble when Sheedy's contract is not re-newed.

Warning - possible Bummer implode !

Be really happy to see the Tigers maintain their rate of development in the running gameplan, blood a few more youngsters, get some stability in the back half, and be competitive with no blow outs against the power midfields.

Saying that, it may mean that the number of wins compared to 05 season decreases.  No problem for mee as long as the list improves at years end.

I'd take Collingwood for the spoon at 10 and 12!

i'll give you 20's.

Pies will play finals next year. They were decimated with injuries to key plyers this year.

That's true tt12 in terms of their No. 1. ruck (Richards) and forward line (Rocca, Didak) but in terms of their slow midfield and defence they had basically their best on the park for most of the year. Buckley missed the first half of 2005 but his return didn't alter the Pies fortunes and he'll be playing less in the midfield as he gets older. Likewise Burns. If they can keep their forwards uninjured for most of 2006 they'll win more than 5 games but IMHO I don't reckon with their ordinary list and deficiencies they'll play finals.

Agree. As long as we don't take shortcuts like in the past I'll be happy.

Isn't it sad how they spent a no.1 pick on Fraser and he isn't even their no.1 ruckmen!

Although i guess 2000 wasn't exactly a kick ass draft compared to others!
