I would have preferred Franklin - got some bad vibes about Tambo last year, and I was hoping we'd look for more key position players.  Franklin will be all right i reckon.

In the round 21 game of 2005 when the crucnh was on Tiges coming back and Hawls needing to hold

Speaking of that game, Tambo scorched off a wing with Lids on the other in the last quarter and was directly responsible for 3 of our goals in that comeback win. Hawk supporters I was sitting near were bagging Tambling up to 3/4 time but there was dead silence in the last with Tambo cutting loose and Franklin nowhere to be seen.

All up IMO the top 5 picks of 2004 look to have long AFL careers ahead of them barring injury. The real losers were the pussies giving up a first round pick (Patto) + Moloney for the injury-riddled Ottens.

I think yout friend Jackstar may be talking poo.

Infact I've heard Bling is the one that hasn't been training anywhere near 100%, due to injury and Buddy is flying.

Facts are that both Roughhead and Franklin have early problems. mail is they are waiting to see how they return from break and step the pace up a bit and see where there  both at.
The dorks have done plenty of running before Xmas and trained on hard surfaces contributing to these two players having early problems.
Dont believe me, go and have a look at Glenferrie oval.  ::)
Its not in the press as they have been too busy reporting on cricket etc
We will have to wait and see , wont we !

For those who are interested in next years crop- it seems like a good one but a bit early still. In stockbroking sense im bullish on Thorp just at the moment however Gibbs, Sellar, Gumbleton, Hansen and co. would also be good for us. With our draw we will get 1...the trick is for Jackstar and co to use all there influence in the halls of power lol...to try and get us a 2nd early pick by trading.

PS- Ive heard that Schulz and Krakouer are absolutely flying. Flying!
