First time I've watched the Footy Show (albeit for 20 mins) in 10 years  :santa

Barrett on the Footy Show.

* Barrett started off with setting a "background" to the story. Martin and Connors were close to Cousins when he was at Richmond and there's a concern from some quarters that he's basically left his mark on them.

* There's people out there that say Martin was just as bad an influence on Connors as Connors was on Martin. So he's not all that innocent in this.

* Both met their club requirements on Sunday and Monday recovery.

* Went out Monday night and got back at 10pm at Connors' place in Thornbury. Partied to 2am with non-football friends. They then took sleeping pills to get to sleep. Only woken up when Wayne Campbell went around to Connors place and woke them up. Connors knew his time was up and when he met Hardwick it got so heated they both had to be restrained.

* The leadership group and senior management involved in the decision.

* Sam said at 2am you shouldn't need sleeping pills. Barrett said that question has been put to the club and no illicit drugs were involved.

* Everyone is looking for a smoking gun here. There's not one apart from what has been reported to happen Monday night. The Club would look silly if they haven't revealed all.

* Connors will be paid out. He won't speak until then.

Thornbury? What happened to Northcote?

Is Sccoter geographically challenge or are the bins just picked up by the same company

But I have to say I liked his comment about the "smoking gun" would have killed him to say it but if there aint no gun then there aint no gun  ;D

A pox on Connors. Whoever was restraining Hardwick should have been less effectual. Give him a slab and send him on his way.

How bad is it. I've only watched a little bit here and there this year. On Thursdays after I watch 360 on Fox, and either AFL League Teams on Fox or now Before the Game, I'm all footy'd out by 930 an no need to watch that crap  ;D

Connors knew his time was up and when he met Hardwick it got so heated they both had to be restrained.

Based on reports from the club, only 5 people could have witnessed that.

Connors, his manager, Hardwick, Gale, Cameron

Who leaked it to the media?

If it is true and was leaked.
And only 5 people would have been witness to it out of Connors, his manager, Hardwick, Gale, Cameron.
I would hope/think that it was his manager, trying to divert attention from player to club.

The suburbs are next door to each other so we'll let him off on this one  ;D.

Considering the gulf in house prices those in Preston would gladly be confused by either of the preceding suburbs mentioned. :thumbsup
