Rance?
"The money might have been better. But, at the end of the day, Richmond showed faith in me. It's only fair that now we're 18th on the ladder, I show the faith back in the club and do everything I can to put them in front. In the end, I'm stoked I made the decision to stay. I f***ing love this club”

Dimma gave the win a 4/10.

Balmey said he's not that happy. Carlton played well and ran hard which stretched us so we'll take the win but we played poorly.

So at least the coaches aren't going to sugarcoat the win. We play like we did after 1/4 time against the Pies next week and we'll get smashed.

Glad to see Graham given a more attacking role, showed his ball winning ability tonight. Has racked up big numbers in the VFL in a similar role in the past, will add to our midfield if it continues.

Shank & Prestia's games were underrated...as were Grimes & Vladtuin's,... :shh

Lambert, Butler terrible. Martin terrible for three quarters. Astbury's form a worry, even moreso now with Rance out.... :shh :shh

Not surprisingly the Tom and Jack combo obviously still needs work....didn't seperate Carlton's tall defenders enough....and.we be shouldn't really  be finding ourselves with Balta one out with two blokes on him when those two are both in the side... :shh :shh :shh

Still see the same issue as in 2018 and in the JLT series and opener today getting our hand on the footy first in centre bounces and winning clearances unless we improve that we caught be in trouble.

If you watch closely - a lot of times we do actually get the first touch in the centre bounces and contests but then immediately turn it over either. through poor/lazy disposal, not being clean enough, not spreading fast enough/over committing or just a simple lack of composure in traffic...a few bigger bodies cwoud also help but they actually need to be good in congestion or it makes no difference - see f.e. whenever Caddy goes there and is largely ineffective... :shh

Need stong and clean mids and tall mids who can stand in tackles and still get the ball away.....Ross has the formerr qualty and RCD has the latter....both probably not ready yet (RCD has no tank for a start) but hopefully we can get them up to speed sooner rather than later... :shh
