Lucky it's the final test because Green should be dropped for stuffing up that Smith catch just now

Yep what was he thinking? :help

And on Wevwter... biggest difference between he and Green? Webster pits value on his wicket as good test players do, sadly Green doesn't.

Webster love is out of control.
He performed rubbish (as did Green) in the West Indies.

Green is 26yo and Webster 32yo

First class cricket
Webster averages 37.48 after 192 innings
Green averages 44.75 after 125 innings

Bowling, they are much of a muchness average wise, BUT Webster can bowl part time off-spin if needed. That still isnt the answer to our spin bowling.

Inglis for what its worth, only averages 35.22 and offers nothing with the ball. How he got a game is beyond me.

As for the Sydney test, Green was looking well and truly in control and his dismissal was inexcusable. He was absolutely cruising.

But to spruik up Webster as someone with some huge value on his wicket, take the blinkers off. The facts are these -
1 - Green batted ahead of Webster
2 - Green was first option seamer ahead of Webster

Lastly. If we are going to pot Green for the slips debacle (and it was atrocious), at least show the ticker to give him his due for what was a superb catch (funnily enough off Webster's bowling).

I'd persist with Green 100%. As it so happens, I would consider playing them both. Although Webster might be better suited of the pair in Bangladesh, playing both in South Africa is a definite option.

As for younger batting options coming through. Im not a fan of Konstas at all. One to keep a real close eye on is Campbell Kellaway.
