We are lacking a general down back at the moment. Houli is getting caught in no-mans land and not getting the overlap handballs he used to get. We are very much a kick / mark team at the moment.
Yeah, it's a very different game from us. Even the frees are our way 12-7
. High possession and mark game but with low inside 50s per disposal. We've had 30 more disposals, 35 more uncontested footy and 40 more marks. Conversely, we down on 1 %ers which we usually dominate.
We're winning the contested footy now but still getting smashed in the clearances. So our post-clearance work needs to improve. IMO more a result of our fumbles and poor decision making at key moments. Lots to improve on in general play with the footy. Our pressure was good without the footy in that 2nd qtr.
