Shake up to the side especially forward line we got the extra tall see how we go have to give it a block of games.Who takes Walker now ? Balta who else they got tall up there.

Now or never for Chol talent there just needs desire and stay involved.

Like it!!
Balta v Thilthorpe
Grimes v Walker
Broad v Fogarty

Our tall forwards will stretch them me thinks.

I would bring in Ben Miller to cover the Astbury injury.

I agree.
Rioli had to go. I like Chol back in but he needs to step up and use his pace I’m hoping I see him use his athleticism to advantage hopefully his pressure is adequate.

Hopefully Tilthorpe doesn’t kick a bag
It’s good to see our mids back and we know we can throw Baker in there too.
The club that keeps giving.

What must Ben Miller be thinking. Astbury out supposedly injured and we cannot play the one player on the list who has actually been playing as a KPD.

Im laughing at Caddy on a wing. I dont mind them playing him after some good games in the two's. He played as a ball winning mid so why plonk him on a wing again, taking the role of a young player in Ralphsmith who has basically trained for the role this year. If we play the kids lets make sure we give em every opportunity to shine. Enough of the limited time and played out of position crap that goes on.
Good to see them persevere with him i reckon he will reward the faith with more good players around him.

When both JR and TL are fit we dont throw them into the ruck. We bring in CCJ to cover Lynch and we need to play Chol as the second ruck with plenty of time fwd.

Pickett Lynch Naish and Astbury all forced changes my way of thinking the changes should have gone like this

Miller for Astbury ffs why is it so hard to play a like for like when the hell are we ever going to get a game into him if not in these circumstances

CCJ for Lynch again like for like we keep the two tall forward structure.

Caddy for Naish but i disagree we play him on a wing that role should be for a young  quick skilled player like Ralphsmith.

Cotchin for Pickett a mid for a mid

Then theres the blokes who needed to be dropped in a big way

Bolton for Rioli with Bolton a big part of midfield rotations

Prestia for Ross a mid for a mid. Ross badly out of touch needed a rest

Chol for Castagna, its two fold he gives Nankervis a decent chop out and he provides an extra tall up forward its some thing we have all been wanting them to try. Would also like to see Baker in Castagna's role with time in the midfield

Dow for Houli imo Houli has been so poor but that would make 8 changes and that is a bridge too far. The six they made is probably giving them kittens.

If the above happened it would remove from the team all those who have been going poor this year

B/ Broad - Miller - Grimes
HB/ Vlastuin - Balta - Short

/C McIntosh - Cotchin - Ralphsmith
R Nankervis - Martin - Prestia

HF/ Bolton - Riewoldt - Baker
 F/ Aarts - CCJ - Chol

INT/ Graham - Caddy - RCD - Dow

Geez they made 6 changes. Maybe let the game play out before you go on ranting and raving about how they’ve got it wrong again.

I am excited to see some of the changes... CCJ and Chol especially.

But I agree re: Astbury and Miller. Miller has been training for what 3 years as a KPF? Astbury couldn't outrun a turtle these days. I'd be playing Miller on Thilthorpe. Balta on Walker. Grimes on Fogarty.

Astbury needs to retire this year so it would be good to get games into Miller while Grimes is still around too.

We all know even with the talls coming in unless we look up and hit our forwards it won't work not just blaze away and bomb it.
