Ryan was as awful in the second half as he was good in the first.... :shh

pee poor effort and no excuses for 18 AFL listed players against a stand alone VFL side that hasn't played or even trained for 5 weeks... :thumbsdown

Not all bad.
We are so young and inexperienced.  Very limited senior experience from VFL support.
Lacked some poise and an extra ruckman/forward today.
Sampson is going to be something with a pre season or 2.

He can clearly play but he has several flaws that are the same as so many already on our list and I can't really see him solving those issues.....poor set shot, poor delivery and decision making inside 50,  undisciplined, prone to brain fades....all things we have a surplus of this year... :shh

31 - 22  Willy's way. 9 to them in the last quarter to our 4 ::).

You can accept frees if they are paid the same way for both sides. The exact same thing happened 3 times to us in our forward line two minutes earlier and yet no free paid. They all should not have been frees. Umps were clueless.

5 frees also paid to Willy well off the ball. Willy are a pack of snipers and we got caught retaliating. As bad as the umps were we needed to remain disciplined when we had the ball. Selfishness and frustration cost us 3-4 goals today which in the end cost us the win.
