Finally got it forward. A rushed point from a ball-up.

Goal to the Dogs.

1 - 8

Our girls seem to have regressed from their first win. Alot of mistakes.
Missing Wakefield big time. No tall solid marking targets aside from Brennan. We have to chip it forward and our skills aren't good enough across the team to do that.

Set shot inside 50 but it doesn't make the distance. Off hands for a point.

We finally break the Dogs lines and have Lavey and Brennan running into an empty F50 but the siren goes to end the quarter.

Quarter time.

Richmond   0.2-2
Bulldogs     1.2-8

The one positive is the Dogs had whatever breeze there was that quarter.

McClelland going off with an ankle injury.

Stahl gives away a dumb free on the wing. We then give away 50 :facepalm. And another free to the Dogs 10m out gifts them a goal  :banghead.

Good strong play by MacDonald gets it deep inside F50. Ball over the back but it's rushed.

Well that quarter was a display of our dysfunctional forward line  :scream.

Half-time

Richmond   1.3-9
Bulldogs     2.2-14

Goal: Brennan

Had plenty of the ball and plenty of inside 50s that quarter but if Brennan doesn't mark it (against 3 defenders) then we don't score. Our small forwards are so ineffective it's not funny. Being front and square seems a foreign concept  :P.

Stats:

Conti   14
J.Hosking 7
Miller   7
Brancatisano 6
Brennan  6
Dempsey 6
Seymour 6
Shevlin  6

Disposals:    94 - 117 .... ( contested: 40 - 58 )
Clearances:  11 - 7
Inside 50s:   11 - 11
Marks in50:   4 - 2
Tackles:       25 - 20 ....... meaningless today as effectiveness of the tackle is more important.
Frees:           5 - 12  ....... Can't complain about the umps today. We've just been dumb and our tackling sloppy.

Jess Hosking, Miller and Seymour (that qtr) are having good games in defence.

As I said Brennan is our only forward that looks like scoring but she is double/triple teamed with no Wakefield. Our small forwards are AWOL as shown by the stats where they have hardly touched the ball - Stahl 2, D'Arcy 2, Jacques 1, Yassir 3.

Just too many passengers.

We had the first clearance but again our smalls are useless and the Dogs clear.

No support in the midfield with too many girls ballwatching see the Dogs run it up for a goal  :banghead.

9 - 20

Sorry can't see us winning today. Too many ballwatching reactive passengers.

Theyve gone back 12 months its a shame. They loojed like they were making steps forward but maybe the win was a flash in the pan.

Making every basic skill mistake now  :P.

Another injury too  :(. Tiger down. Not sure who it is. Stretcher out. May be Burchell (?).
