Cornes on Footy Classified said Taranto (and Hopper) were on watch for just hacking the ball forward and not hitting targets.

Don't agree about being "on watch" but their disposal on Thursday night was poor. That I agree with.

Except Hopper's last kick of the game that Lynch marked....that was an OK kick

Cornehole couldn't kick over a jam tin.  One of the weakest kicks the comp has seen in the last 30years.  He is just another weak kick strong media campaigner.

doesn’t mean he can’t comment on it

Best tennis coach is the world was an average player (Boliterri)
Ditto golf with Leadbetter

Don’t have to be good at something to have an opinion on it

I think he’s an utter flog, but think he’s partially correct .. agree with WP’s take

Big inside mids especially in Hoppers case are not drafted for their outside skills.
On Taranto yes right thru his career the only knock on his game has been kicking. Not that it was terrible or anything.

Look at Cotch the biggest knock on his game has been kicking or hurt factor by foot. But sheesh so hes not an elite kick but you take every day of the week what he brings in spades and its the same for Taranto.

Improved disposal this week but still misses some easy targets and those bang it on the boot ones are heart in  mouth stuff

But in the furnace around the contests he is just brilliant

Taranto so far in the AFL top 10 in terms of disposals (60) and with the equal second most tackles (16).

Love a two way midfielder. Contributes in all the facets you’d want from a midfielder - possessions, contested ball, tackles, clearances. Just needs to add some goals and tidy up his kicking.
