I can see this kid being our Cripps.. once he bulks a a bit, and builds his endurance he will be a game breaker

Didn't watch the whole game due to having company but he has no stats at all after about half way in the 3rd.

How much bench time did he get??

69% tog for the whole match dunno what the quarter by quarter breakdown was but he seemed to be there nearly every other time the cameras showed the bench or the interchange area in the second half .....maybe someone who was there (WP?) can enlighten us more ... :shh

Have no idea, certainly spent more time in the last on the bench than on the ground. Did notice a lot of the younger blokes cramping in the last

That's clearly a fitness issue

Showed sensational hands in their goal square in the second quarter
Can’t teach that
He handballed to Vlastuin

We did concede a goal , but the kid was sensational

Has composure under pressure

That's why I reckon we've got a good one in this lad

Now this kid is a gun I think we can all agree...ran out of legs and seemed to be on the bench a lot in the second but looking forward to getting a full 4 quarters of that first half effort after another pre-season or two Luke willing.... :pray :shh
your really dropping some comedy gold on this forum. Congratulations.

Just a reminder in last year's draft,  Richmond traded Pick 35 for:

Pick 40 (Kane McAuliffe)
Fremantle's 2024, 3rd round selection
West Coast's 2024, 3rd round selection

------------

Only came onto the ground with 10 mins left. Game on the line…

7 touches
5 contested
2 intercepts
2 clearances

If only he'd played a whole game he would have had 90+ disposals and close to 30 clearances haha.

In all seriousness what a great sub effort. He was apparently toast last week so maybe it wasn't a bad idea to give him a brief run to freshen him up.

I was a bit too stressed to notice when he came on and started getting the ball. Which have to watch the replay but the figures themselves are awesome.

Just need to know did they manage to find his head that almost got ripped off with 4 mins to go in the last, 30 odd metres out from our goal? (Flal, flap and say play on)  ::)

Thomson Dow should watch some tapes of young Kane, he could learn alot ..seriously

Some people just aren't born with the kahunas and if they don't have them right away I doubt they ever will.

Can we think of any player who was drafted soft and hardened up/became brave?

In Martin out McAuliffe would not be surprised in the least if this is the scenario at selection.!!!!
Has to start its becoming farcical.
