It will go through if Sydney can’t trump it I would suggest. Carlton will try to get some more with compromised drafts on the way but it’s a good offer as there’s no guarantee Geelong will finish top 4 for the following 2 years and Carlton might end up being the winners.

I’m actually a mate of Curnow. Hope he gets to Geelong, the baggers haven’t exactly been good to him

Danger curnow Cameron forwardline looks alright

Looks crap.

Danger is finished.

Cameron is a gun and 33 years old next year. The cliff will come steep and fast eventually.

Curnow is held together by duct tape.

I'd love to see them field this forward line.

The Danger hate is comical
He literally got them to the GF

One of the best prelim final performances of all time

That’s true , I have noticed he gives his heart a gets them over the line in A GAME but just can’t get up the following week.
I can see him being strategically rested throughout next year ( interstate and bottom sides)

How'd he go in the GF? Haha

Better a year early than a day late, as they say...

It was incredible but it was back to usual in granny.
Apart from their flag year, his finals record is middling. Most of his best work is done in the 1st half.
"The money might have been better. But, at the end of the day, Richmond showed faith in me. It's only fair that now we're 18th on the ladder, I show the faith back in the club and do everything I can to put them in front. In the end, I'm stoked I made the decision to stay. I f***ing love this club”

Averaged 15 disposals and kicked 30 goals, as well as doing plenty of the hard stuff

Difference between your ridiculous comment that he is "finished" and the logic that they should manage him better ..

You realise he has never played less than 16 games in a season since his first year ?

If they look after him, he will be a very good player again next year .. and as for the GF, he was cactus .. fired his shot the week before single handedly dragging them over the line .. that says more about his teammates than it does Danger

Not trying to be a smart behind Sim

But exactly when did it turn sour? When he signed that mega contract they were obviously being very good to him

I suppose I'm just staggered by the number of players who sign huge long term deals and the half way through (or earlier in some cases) said contracts they want out

"Oh yes I am a dreamer, I still see us flying high!"

from the song "Don't Walk Away" by Pat Benatar 1988 (Wide Awake In Dreamland)

The lucrative contract is a funny one, the clubs want control and are happy to pay for it and the player managers say that they can force a trade, both parties see it as a win win.

Carlton have had notoriously bad injury management, I’ll leave it at that
