I know it's to appease Foxtel

But this need to drag the selections out is excruciating

Just like spreading the draft over 2 nights

Should be done and dusted tonight by 9.30pm

Yep it’s ridiculous.

Can someone please explain to me how our next pick is suddenly number 29   :huh

As per the AFL Draft tracker

https://www.afl.com.au/draft/draft-tracker/2025

Is it because of all these Academy bids?

Picks before our pick originally 38 have been swallowed up by all the academy and f/s bids being matched.

There’s going to be some interesting players left on the board with our next pick

Eagles bid on Murray. Suns match it.

17. Gold Coast - Jai Murray.

Eagles bid again (their fourth for the night). On Addinsall. Suns match it too.

18. Gold Coast - Beau Addinsall

I wonder if another Club will bid on Louis Kellaway, forcing us to match?

Only thinking out loud as I reckon the Suns and the other clubs north of the border would be rather peeved with all this bidding on their Academy players  ;D

It’s not 29, it’s 31?
"The money might have been better. But, at the end of the day, Richmond showed faith in me. It's only fair that now we're 18th on the ladder, I show the faith back in the club and do everything I can to put them in front. In the end, I'm stoked I made the decision to stay. I f***ing love this club”
