One change.

Trainor in for Green.

Further proof that young Luke is one of the coach's favourites  >:(

All the draftees have been given games, like Armstrong coming back in so soon too.
I’m all for it at this stage

I am supportive of playing the kids. We have to I get that

But Trainor has even horribly out of form. His efforts a fortnight ago against the Suns were to be blunt at times pathetic. Refused to chase, zero 2nd efforts. If a senior player dished it up people would be demanding they be dropped.

If they drop Sims for poor form, then that rule applies to all of the kids

"Oh yes I am a dreamer, I still see us flying high!"

I agree Trainor has been poor but worth persisting with, just needs the experience. Next year should be a bit more even re: who gets games. Especially if gibcus can stay healthy. Hard backline to break into

Really disappointed that Gibcus not included. Believe would have been an excellent opportunity for him to build confidence.  Wasted  chance.

Its irrelevant what teams we pick now with just this and next week to go.

Things like giving  McIntosh and others send of games is the go.
The truth is if half that side doesnt change for next year then development will totally stall. Injuries seriously curtailed development of kids this year we don't want that to happen again.

As should have been the case this year minimal older blokes just because they have experience and play our most talented kids as much as possible with just enough experience around them.
Would like them to think outside the box a bit more and find ways to ensure as many of our kids are playing as possible. Things like trying Brown and Campbell on the wing. Lefau as a mid, Smillie across hb and Hotton and lalor as mid forwards and Balta as a second ruck/utility.

Next year we need to play sides along these lines.

Vlastuin - Miller - Trainor
Smillie - Gibcus - Banks#

Campbell - Taranto - Brown
Nankervis - McAuliffe - Lalor

Hotton - Faull - Algar
Mansell - Lynch - Armstrong

Sharpe #2 hopefully at this stage. - Hopper - Broad - Balta - Pick #3 highly skilled quick more outside than in. - Lefau as a mid/utility.

Outside of some younger blokes  not named imo the majority of the rest are superfluous to needs and are the ones we need to improve on.

Can put up with lots of losses if its with good kids but not if its with ordinary players like we constantly have played.

Largely agree.

Tigers fielding a side almost two years older and more experienced than norf tomorrow.

Not ideal at this stage of the rebuild.

The entire starting midfield. Half the back 6 and Lynch is far too old for a best 22.
