AFLW Injury Report: Round 8, 2025

AFLW High Performance Manager Eliza Morrison provides the Injury Report ahead of Richmond's Round 8 clash with Adelaide at IKON Park this Sunday.

Jodie Hicks: Foot, TBC

"Jodie has an impaction injury to her right foot, suffered during our Round 6 game against St Kilda," Morrison said

"She will require a couple of weeks of offloading to let this settle before building up, but is currently progressing as expected."

Tessa Lavey: Hamstring, Test

"Tessa has completed her return to play progressions, and as long as she completes main training this week, she will be available for selection," Morrison said.

I'm a Maddie Shevlin fan

But she is a perfect example of the problem with our AFLW side this season

She's been sadly out of form all season and playing with zero confidence because of it

Now this week, round 8 they decide to do something. No wonder her confidence is shot

"Oh yes I am a dreamer, I still see us flying high!"

This team is a joke. Not players fault.
"The money might have been better. But, at the end of the day, Richmond showed faith in me. It's only fair that now we're 18th on the ladder, I show the faith back in the club and do everything I can to put them in front. In the end, I'm stoked I made the decision to stay. I f***ing love this club”

Club clearly doesn’t care
Not sure why supporters do

Greiser shot on the run from 40 was going through but it was touched on the line.

And that is why Ferguson is such a crap coach. We had the ball deep inside 50 yet no wall organised across the F50 to prevent the Crows from escaping. It's basic tactics  :banghead. Crows run it down easily to the other end for a soft goal.

10% efficiency going inside 50.

Whereas the Crows are going at 66%.

Spot who has the dud coach  ::).

Quarter time

Richmond    1.3-9
Adelaide      2.2-14

Goal: McKenzie

14 inside 50s for just one goal. And the Club re-signed this dud coach for another year facepalm.
