I must admit I don't follow the SA boys as close as the Vic boys, so Sam is a bit of a surprise. Out of the 2, however reading up and watching highlights, he's an impressive kid. To have a nomination in his bottom age year ahead of both Draper (top age) and Sharp speaks volumes. And he's been rated in the system for a while.
Draft combine data excellent, fits a need. In an even draft he's a solid pick, who will compliment Lalor, Smillie really well. No frills, job done type player looking forward to seeing him play.
