ROFFLFMAOOOOOOOOOO@how scary this guy would have been if he was around in the 80's when acts like Culture Club, Wham and Frankie Goes to Hollywood were pushing the boundaries of sodomusic.

I was unfortunate enough to be subjected to the original demo of li'l pete's recording of "Mysterious girl"

The original lyric was "Mysterious MAN" but Gudinski wouldnt go with it.
He said is was too gay and that it would spell the end.

LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO@Petes Freudian slip.

Guy Sebastion said with his new album he had more control over what went on it.  He said some producer has written a really bad song and he put his foot down and said there was no way he was going to have that song.

Shannon Noll was really the biggest star to come out of Australia Idol - bigger than Guy.  And Australian Idol (so far) has proved better and more lucrative than Popstars.  Katie Underwood had more success outside Bardot than in and as for the rest of the Popstars, apart from Sophie Monk, who has heard boo from Scandrus and that positively awful Scott Cain.

I feel sorry for all of them Julz, i think they're all deluded with stars in their eyes.  Courtney it seems is the only one to me with a voice that is different, and could adapt to most styles of music, and seems to have been working a bit to learn his craft.
I saw Katie Underwood the other night and she was awful - maybe she quit Bardot because she felt she wasn't as good as the others which doesn't say much for any of them.
Life can be very cruel and i think all of them will find this out sometime down the line.  One of them will be very successful and famous for 15 mins - hope they survive the rest of their lives without an enormous chip on their shoulder and being bitter and twisted.
But hey, they all can sing better than me - so who am i to question them or their dreams.

Was that on "Dancing with the Stars" - yes that wasn't the best.  But she did ok with Disco Montego.  Last night was 80's night - I just loved the 80's.  Anthony I thought was a bit flat - didn't think the song was a good choice.  Loved Courtenay - "Oh Sherry" was a favourite song in the 80's.  Chanel's "Stop" just oozed sexuality.

R&B night last night.  Chanel wasn't very good - will this be the end?  Anthony was quite good but not exciting though.  Casey got a touchdown - she's got a great voice, but will her looks get in the way?  Courtney did "What a Fool Believes" and had trouble with the really high falsetto, which was a shame cause otherwise he did a great job.  Hayley did a Marvin Gaye song (can't remember which one) - was ok.  Actually, I was a tiny bit bored with the whole night and kept flipping across to 60 Minutes.
